Double Headed Penny
on youtube
NOT FOR SALE
This double headed penny sold for R30,000.
A while back, I sorted out some coins I had acquired many years ago and found a double headed George VI penny.
More than 80 years ago there was a popular gambling game called 2up. Basically, if you flipped the coin and it landed 2 or 3 times on heads, you won the pot. It was risky for a cheater but lucrative to have a double headed coin but they would have to be fast to switch the coin back to the normal one after they won the pot.
My coin, although it looks real, is unfortunately fake 🙁
weighs 13g instead of 9g
